AVANGAR was an esports organization from Kazakhstan. It was formed in 2017 and disbanded in 2020. The organisation had teams in League of Legends, Counter Strike Global Offensive and PUBG fields. Their incomes came only from CS:Go (87%) and PUBG (13%), according to Esports Earnings.
The team was quickly to make an impression by winning a series of small CSGO tournaments such as the Stream.me Gauntlet – CIS vs EU #9 and the CIS Minor Championship – Boston 2018.
The team maintained their composure and the series of good results continued. In 2019, they finished first in the CIS Minor Championship – Katowice 2019. They also won the DreamHack Open Rio de Janeiro 2019 leaving home with $50,000 in prizes. Their biggest result so far are undoubtedly the first place in the BLAST Pro Series: Moscow and the 2nd place in the StarLadder Berlin Major 2019 after facing Astralis in the Finals.
Avangar also had an PUBG roster launched in 2018. The team managed to win, in its first year, the IEM XII Katowice PUBG Invitational.
