Heroic Overview
Heroic is a Danish esports organization founded in 2016 by the members of the Team X, active on the CSGO scene. Heroic is known to have been home for some of the best Counter Strike GO players in the world, with names such as gla1ve, valde, niko popping-up in the team’s line-up over the years.
When it comes to successful starts, there’s no better example than Heroic, the team winning it’s first tournament the same month it launched. In August 2016, days after they officialy presented their team Heroic wins the Power-LAN 2016 in Odense.
The following year, the team reaches the finals of the DreamHack Atlanta losing against EnVyUS but later in the year they managed to finish first in the World Cyber Arena Event. In 2018, the team wins two other big events the Game Clash Masters and the Toyota Master CSGO in Bangkok.
In 2019, they’re back again in Atlanta, where they manage to beat Sprout in the Grand Finals and take home the DreamHack trophy and $50,000 in prize money.
