OpTic Gaming Overview
OpTic Gaming is an American esports organization with a history anchored in the early competitive Call of Duty scene. The Los Angeles -based organization was founded 13 years ago by OpTic “Kr3w” and Ryan “J” Musselman as a Call of Duty sniping team. In 2019, Immortals Gaming Club (IGC) announced the acquisition of Infinite Esports & Entertainment, the parent organization of OpTic Gaming.
Today, the organization fields multiple rosters including, CSGO, Dota 2, League of Legends and Gears of War. The organization is also involved in the Overwatch League with ownership of the Houston Outlaws.
OpTic Gaming‘s Call of duty team ended up winning the CWL World Championship in 2017 while their CSGO team recently won the DreamHack Open Summer 2019 in Jönköping, Sweden.
Their very short-lived Dota 2 team achieved some great results in the 1 year they were active, including a 7th Place at The International 2018 that earned them a bit over $630,000. Their League of Legends roster takes part in the LCS series, and managed to finish 5th in the 2019 Summer Split.
