Rogue Overview
Rogue is a North American Esports organization with teams competing in League of Legends, Rainbow Six Siege, Rocket League, Apex Legends, Smash and Fortnite. The organization is one of the ten franchise partners participating in the newly rebranded League of Legends European Championship – LEC 2020.
Rogue Esports is owned by ReKTGlobal and partly by Steve Aoki, the world-renowned DJ who takes an active role in promoting both the teams and the Rogue brand itself.
Rogue League of Legends
Rogue’s history in competitive LOL only goes back one year and two seasons of EU LCS. In 2018 the team is announced to be participating in the EU LCS – the previous iteration of the LEC. In its first season, the organization did not impress but after a few inspired roster moves, Rogue manages to finish the LEC Summer 2019 on the 4th position and earning €20,000.
Rogue Rainbow Six Siege
Rogue fields one of the top Rainbow Six Siege teams today, active both in Europe and North America. Its first great results came in 2018 when the team managed to finish 3rd in the Six Invitational and 1st in the United States Nationals tournament in Las Vegas. In 2019, their R6 team won the DreamHack Valencia 2019 earning a seed spot in the $500,000 Six Major Raleigh major.
Rogue Rainbow Rocket League
Rogue has one of the most extensive backgrounds in Rocket League, dating as back as 2017 when the team reached the 5th position in the finals of RLCS Season 3. Two years later, they won their biggest Rocket League prize pool, reaching the 4th spot in the RLCS Season 7 – Finals and leaving home $40,000 richer.
