Sprout Overview
Sprout is a German esports organization, currently only active in CSGO, that was formed in 2017 with the acquisition of Seed’s roster.
Sprout is one of the mid-tier esports organizations in Europe, but nonetheless, one with a consistent presence in regional or entry-level tournaments. Its first notable achievements came in 2018 when they managed to finish first in the ESL Meisterschaft: Summer 2018, the highest national division of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in Germany.
Good results followed in 2019, Sprout winning the The WinterNational at DreamHack Leipzig 2019 and reaching 2nd place in the Charleroi Esports, Game Clash Masters and Copenhagen Games tournaments. Moreover, they reached the finals in the DreamHack Open Atlanta, surpassing teams such as CR4ZY or Virtus.pro but ultimately lost to Heroic in the grand final.
