Overview
VICI Gaming is a Shanghai-based esports organisation with teams spread across several titles. The Chinese organization is most famous for its results in Dota 2 tournaments but they also host League of Legends, StarCraft II, WarCraft III, FIFA, Hearthstone and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive teams.
VICI Gaming rose to fame in 2014 when, after being awarded a direct invite to Dota 2’s The International, they managed to place first in the group stage and second overall, earning over 1.4 million USD, one of the largest prizes in esports history at that moment.
In February 2015, Vici Gaming was invited to the Dota 2 Asia Championships which had the largest prize pool outside of The International events. The team finished as a runner-up in the tournament, knocking out the tournament favorites Team Secret but they lost against Evil Geniuses in the grand finals.
In 2019, they won both the Epicenter Major and DreamLeague Season 11 but only managed to finish 6th in the TI.
Beside their main teams, the esport organization features several additional junior divisions such as VG Reborn and even a women-only team. VICI Gaming is one of the top esports organizations in terms of overall earnings with over 12 million USD from over 270 tournaments.

VICI Gaming was a team with potential and results from the very beginning. They have won countless tournaments and matches, already listed in the Overview. Dota 2
The Dota team has even more amazing results than the CSGO one. Beside winning both the Epicenter Major and DreamLeague Season 11, against Team Liquid and Virtus.pro, in 2019 they also managed to finish in the second position at MDL Chengdu Major tournament and win the ONE Esports Dota 2 World Pro Invitational Singapore tournament.

Dota 2 Active Squad
After The International 4, Vici Gaming made big chances to their roster by acquiring Black and iceiceice in the carry and offlane positions, respectively. After these transfers, the team managed to place first in many premier tournaments such as i-League, ESL One New York 2014 and The Summit 2.
In the post-DAC shuffle in March 2015, Vici Gaming made a new youth squad called Vici Gaming Potential (abbreviated as VG.P) which consisted of promising new players in the Chinese Dota scene. Changes were also made in the main team with the replacement of Black with Hao.
In the current roster the oldest player is Ori, since January 2017, and the newest are Erica and old eLeVeN since September 2020.
