China Dota 2 Professional League Overview
China Dota2 Professional League represents the highest level of competition for Dota 2 players in the country. Its 1st Season started in October 2019 will end in March 2020 and will offer a total prize pool of nearly $220,000.
China Dota2 Professional League matches are held in between the gaps between the global Minor and Major Dota 2 Tournaments, offering participating teams additional chances to improve their skill.
China Dota2 Professional League – Season 1 Format
Group Stage
China Dota 2 Professional League Season 1 Group Stage sees the 10 participating teams playing Best of 3 matches against each other. Top 4 teams qualify for the Upper bracket of the Playoffs while teams placed on 5th and 6th position advance to the Lower Bracket. Remaining 4 teams are eliminated.
Playoffs
The China Dota 2 Professional League Season 1 Playoffs is a Best of 3 double-elimination bracket. Top two teams play the Grand Final in a Best of 5 format.
