DPC China 2022 Overview
DPC China is one of the 6 official Dota Pro Circuit regional leagues in 2022. In China, the event organizer is Perfect World, the same company that organized the 1.5 M USD Dota 2 Supermajor in 2018.
The event will take place between March 14 and April 22 with a total prize pool of $280,000 ($205,000 Division I and $75,000 Division II), offline in Shanghai.
The DPC Regional leagues are divided into an Upper and a Lower division of 8 teams each. In 2022, the names of divisions are a bit changed, the Upper Division is Division I and the Lower Division is Division II.
Schedule
DPC China 2022 Division I is starting on March 15, and it ends on April 22. Division II starts one day earlier on March 14 but ends all at once.
DPC China 2022 Format
Division I
The event is taking place with 8 teams, six teams from the previous season and two from the previous season’s Division II.
1st place team is qualified in the Major Playoffs, 2nd place team on the Major Group Stage and 3rd and 4th place teams are qualified on the Major Wild Card. Bottom two teams are relegated to the Division II of Season 2, and the remaining teams will be maintained in the current division for Season 2.
Division II
The Lower Division also has 8 teams, 4 of them from the previous season, two of them from the previous season’s Division I and the other 2 from the Closed Qualifiers.
The top two teams will qualify to Division I DPC China 2022, Season 2, the bottom two will be eliminated, and the remaining teams will remain in the current division for Season 2.
The format of both divisions is a round-robin with Bo3 matches.

Division I prize pool is $205,000 US dollars.
