DPC North America 202 Overview
The event will take place between January 18th and February 28th 2021, with a total prize pool of $280,000 ($205,000 Upper Division and $75,000 Lower Division).
The tournament is taking place between January 18 and February 28 2021, with a total of 16 teams. The Upper Division starts one day later, on January 19.
DPC North America Format
The event is taking place with 8 teams, where four of the team are being invited and the other four came from the Closed Qualifier. The format is round-robin and all matches are Bo3.
1st place team is qualified in the Major Playoffs, 2nd place team on the Major Group Stage and Bottom two teams are relegated to the Lower Division of Season 2, and the remaining teams will be maintained in the current division for Season 2.
The Lower Division teams half get qualified from the Closed Qualifier and the other 4 from Open Qualifiers.
The format is round-robin with Bo3 matches.
The top two teams are qualified to the Upper Division of Season 2, the bottom two are eliminated and the remaining teams are maintained in the current division for Season 2.
The total prize pool for the event is $280,000 divided as shown below:
The Upper Division has a prize pool of $205,000:

- 2nd place -$28,000
- 3rd place – $27,000
- 4th place – $26,000
- 5th place – $25,000
- 6th place – $24,000
- 7th place – $23,000
- 8th place – $22,000
The Lower Division has a prize pool of $75,000:
- 1st place – $17,000
- 2nd place – $16,000
- 3rd place – $15,000
- 4th place – $11,000
- 5th place – $9,000
- 6th place – $7,000

The directly invited teams are: Quincy Crew, Evil Geniuses, 4 Zoomers, Sadboys. Undying, Black N Yellow, A-Team and 5ManMidas got qualified from the Close Qualifier.
The teams from the Closed Qualifiers of the Lower Division are: Team DogChamp, Electronic Boys, Byzantine Raiders and The Cut. Felt, Arkosh Gamings, simply TOOBASED and Jiang Hu are the four teams that qualified from the Open Qualifiers.
