ESEA League 2021 Overview
ESEA League is one of the largest and most popular CSGO tournaments today, with divisions in North America, Europe, Australia, the Middle East, South Africa, Asia, Poland, Russia and Brazil.
The league has 3 seasons of games per year and is known to act as a ramp for teams and players that work their way up through the ESEA League to get the ESL Pro League.
Teams start in the Open division and depending on their playoff results are moved up to Intermediate, Main, Advanced or to the Premier – ESEA MDL which is the highest ESEA run division.
Prize pools for the ESEA tournaments can start at a few hundred dollars but for the Open events but can reach $35,000 / region for the Premier events. The total prize pool for an entire season can go over $180,000.
ESEA League – The Premier Divisions
ESEA Premier events represents the highest level a team can reach in the ESEA League.
Each region has a Premier-level event where the best CSGO teams compete for a seed place in the ESEA Global Challenges and through it, a shot at a qualifying spot in the ESL Pro League.

ESEA Global Challenges
The Global Challenges represent the culmination of each ESEA League Season, gathering all the top teams from across all division for the ultimate showdown.
The Global Challenges offer higher prizes – up to $75,000 for the 2020 events – and 3 qualifying spots for the ESL Pro League.
