ESL One: New York 2021 Overview
ESL One New York is one of the most important CSGO tournament of this fall, bringing together 8 of the world’s best rosters and 40 of the world’s best players for an unique showdown taking place at Barclays Center.
FaZe Clan, Astralis, Ence, Team Liquid, NRG Esports, OpTic Gaming, G2 Esports and eUnited are the teams qualified for the biggest CSGO event on the US East Coast, battling for the lion’s share of $200,000.
ESL One: New York 2021 Format
ESL One: New York 2021 will be played in a Group Stage / Playoffs format with Best of 3 and Best of 5 matches.
The Group stage will take place between 26th and 27th September , with the 8 teams being placed in two double elimination (GSL) groups.
Matches are played in a BO3 format with the top two teams from each group advancing to the Playoffs.
Teams qualified for the playoffs are placed in a single elimination bracket with BO3 matches for the Semifinals and BO5 for the grand final.
