LJL 2022 Overview
LJL 2022 or League of Legends Japan League is the top professional LOL competition in the country. It is also one of the newest franchised leagues part of the official Riot circuit, debuting right before the start of the 2019 season.
Some of this year’s sponsors will be: Yoshimoto, PlayBrain, Alienware, LipovitanD, au, NISSIN, and KFC.

LJL has eight participating teams:

DetonatioN FocusMe is the winning team of LJL Spring 2020 and 2021 and Summer Split 2021 and V3 Esports is the winning team on the Summer Split 2020.
LJL Format and Schedule
LOL Japan League takes place in two stages, with a Spring Split starting on 11th of February and ending on the 25th March. The Summer Split dates will be announced soon. Both LJL splits follow the same format: Group Stage followed by the Playoffs.
The Group Stage will have all the matches played as double-round-robin play. Playoffs as a showdown between the top three teams. Playoffs will be played as a single elimination bracket.
The winners of each split qualifies for the Mid-Season Invitational 2022 and World Championship 2022.
Each split offers a total prize pool of almost $88,000.
