DPC South America Overview
Dota Pro Circuit South America (DPC SA 2022) is one of the official regional leagues of the Dota Pro Circuit. The tournament is held online and will feature 16 participating teams (8 for each division).
The tournament is organised by Dota Pit!
The DPC Regional leagues are divided into two divisions of 8 teams each. In 2021 DPC organized for the first time DPC SA, so 2022 brings the second season for South America.
The event will take place between March 14 and April 22, 2022, with a total prize pool of $280,000 ($205,000 Division I and $75,000 Division II).

DPC SA 2022 Format
Division I
DPC South America is taking place with six teams from the previous tour of Division I and the top two teams from 2021 that won Division II.
1st place team is qualified in the Major Playoffs, 2nd place team on the Major Group Stage and Bottom two teams are relegated to the Season 3 of Division III, and the remaining teams will be maintained in the current division for Season 3.
Division II
Division II has two teams from Division I of the previous tour of 2021, four teams from Division II of the previous tour, and two teams from a closed qualifier.
The first to places of Division II will qualify into Division I in the next season.
Gameplay
The format is round-robin with Bo3 matches.
Prize Pool
The total prize pool for the event is $280,000.
The Upper Division has a prize pool of $205,000:
- 1st place – $30,000
- 2nd place -$28,000
- 3rd place – $27,000
- 4th place – $26,000
- 5th place – $25,000
- 6th place – $24,000
- 7th place – $23,000
- 8th place – $22,000
The Lower Division has a prize pool of $75,000:
- 1st place – $17,000
- 2nd place – $16,000
- 3rd place – $15,000
- 4th place – $11,000
- 5th place – $9,000
- 6th place – $7,000
