Overview
FaZe Clan is a North American esports organization predominantly active in FPS esports such as Fortnite, Counter Strike GO, Rainbow 6, Call of Duty and PUBG. Since January 2018, FaZe Clan has also been involved in professional FIFA.
FaZe Sniping made its debut on YouTube on May 30, 2010. Originally, the group was a Call of Duty clan founded by three players, Eric “CLipZ” Rivera, Jeff “House Cat” Emann (now known as “Timid”) and Ben “Resistance” Christensen. FaZe Clan’s CSGO roster, quickly grew into one of the most powerful lineups of the scene, dominating the scene in 2017 and 2018. In 2017 the CSGO team managed to win the ESL One New York and the StarLadder tournament in Kiev while in 2018 they came first at the IEM Sydney, Epicenter Moscow and BLAST Pro Series Miami.
These amazing performances didn’t go unnoticed and soon FaZe Clan became one of the most popular esport teams on YouTube. The organization has its own branded clothes line and managed to attract some big names such as Nissan, Wix and Steelseries as its sponsors.

CS:GO
After making their presence known in the Call of Duty scene, they moved into the CS:GO scene.
At the 2017 ESL One: New York, defeated Team Liquid, securing a prize of $125,000. In 2020 the team won the BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 Regular Season tournament defeating again Team Liquid.

FaZe Clan first got into competition by sponsoring a few of NAMELESS’s teams at events during the Modern Warfare 3 season. They notably won The Iowa Pro Gaming Challenge 2012.
In 2019, after 7 years of high-tier competitive gameplay in Call of Duty, winning upwards of $1 million, the FaZe Clan decided to partner up with Atlanta Esports Ventures and thus creating Atlanta FaZe, which became the successor team to the FaZe Clan’s own Call of Duty team.
