Overview
Gambit Esports is a Russian esports organization owned by MTS. The organization has active roosters in CS:GO, League of Legends, Dota 2, Valorant, Apex Legends, and Fortnite.
Formerly known as Gambit Gaming (GG), they joined the esports competitive gaming in January 2016. Gambit Esports’ fame increased exponentially after the winning of PGL Major Kraków 2017 against Immortals.
In 2017 Gambit made its own academy. The name was Gambit Youngsters and some of it was disbanded because the squad was promoted as the main team for CS:GO.

CSGO
Gambit’s first big tournament won was the CIS Minor Championship – Columbus 2016 against Rebels.
Their first place came with a prize pool of $30,000. After that, the team went continuously grew and improved. In 2017 they won the PGL Major Krakow and secured a prize of $500,000.

Gambit’s best year in Dota 2 was 2019 when they won over $350,000 from all the tournaments they participated in.
In February 2021 Gambit Esports enters a partnership with AS Monaco and the team rebranded to AS Monaco Gambit. Their most recent matches in the Dota 2 scene are taking place at the Dota 2 Championship League 2021 Season 2.
