ALGS 2022 Split 2 Playoffs Overview
The ALGS 2022 Split 2 Playoffs is taking place in Stockholm, Sweden as a LAN party. The event will begin at the end of April. Apex Legends Global Series is The International or World, but in Apex Legends. It is organized by EA and Respawn Entertainment. This year’s sponsors for the most expect Apex Legends event are Lenovo Legion and Monster Energy.

Format
The Apex Legends 2022 Split Playoffs have three stages – Group Stage, Double Elimination, and Finals.
Group Stage – April 29th
40 teams will be split into four even groups. Each group has to match with each other in a six game. That means a series of a total of 18 games for every team in the Group Stage.
- Twenty teams with the highest Group Stage Score start in the Winners Bracket
- Twenty teams with the lowest Group Stage Score start in the Losers Bracket round 1
Bracket Stage – April 30th
The Winners Braket has one 6 games series and the Losers Bracket has two 6 games series.
Winners bracket: The top ten teams will advance to the Finals. The remaining teams from this round play in the Losers Bracket round 2.
Losers bracket round 1: The top ten teams will advance to the losers bracket round 2. The remaining teams from this round will be eliminated.
Losers bracket round 2: The top ten teams will advance to the Finals. The remaining teams are eliminated.
Finals – May 1st
The 20 remaining team in ALGS 2022 Split 2 Playoffs, will compete using the Match Point format. The 10 teams from the Winners Bracket will be arranged by their placement and will start the Finals with Advance Starting Points.
ALGS 2022 Playoffs Split 2 Rules for the Finals
The Final will not have a match number limit. Once the minimum of total points (50 p) is reached by a team, the next match becomes “Match Point Eligible” for that team.
The first team to win a match after they are “Match Point Eligible” is the winner. Thereafter, the other teams will be ranked by the points they got so far in the Finals.
There can be more than one team who can be “Match Point Eligible”.
Prize Pool
The 40 participating teams compete for a prize pool of $1,000,000 USD. The interesting fact about ALGS 2022 Split 2 Playoffs is that every team receives a money prize.

The 40 participating teams got into the championship by participating and winning the Pro League tournaments from North America (10), South America (5), APAC North (10), APAC South (5), and EMEA (10).
