IEM Dallas 2022 Overview
One of the most important CSGO events of the year, IEM will take place in Dallas, Cologne, and China in 2022 for the Season XVII. Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Dallas will have a significant lower prize pool than Cologne, but the same number of teams.
Schedule
IEM Dallas 2022 aims to start on 31st May, and it will end on 5th June in Dallas at Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center.
This year, Intel, Acer Predator, DHL, Monster Energy, 1xBet, Coinbase will be the official sponsors. The partners will be present at the event.
Format
Group stage
Each group has eight teams, playing in BO3 format.
The top three teams of each group will advance to the Playoffs. The winners advance to the semifinals, the runners-up advance to the Quarter-finals as the High Seeds. 3rd place teams advance to the Quarter-finals as the Low Seeds.
Playoffs
The Playoffs will be a single-elimination bracket, with The Quarterfinals & Semifinals being played as Bo3. The Grand Final will be played as Bo5.
Prize Pool
The total prize pool for the event will be $250,000 USD. First placed team will get $100,000 and 1000 points. The second team takes $42,000 and 750 points and the third team gets $20,000 and 525 points.
