The organizers announced this decision on 9th September. The event was planned to be held in person. Due to the Covid-19 Delta variant’s rapid spreading, the host decided to put DreamHack Atlanta on hold for the next year.
DreamHack is a worldwide gaming convention. You can participate in professional and amateur esports tournaments, be part of a LAN party, and bringing your own computer to it. You can also take part in other related activities.
This event is recognized by the Guinness Book of Records and Twin Galaxies as the World’s largest LAN party and computer festival with the fastest Internet connection and the most generate traffic.

The company will announce the full schedule in December. The announcement will be made on DreamHack day – December 9, 2021, after they will have more information about the pandemic.
