On 7 March, Snoop Dogg posted on Twitter his new role in FaZe Clan organization. Snoop Dogg has joined FaZe Clan’s board of directors, and will start producing content for the organization.
The Hip Hop artist will join Faze Clan’s board of directors after the company goes public later this year. He and will also “co-create content, participate in key business initiatives, and launch merchandise with the brand” under the brand’s umbrella.
Who Convinced Snoop to be part of FaZe Clan?
Snoop’s gaming era is well-known, even if you are not a fan of gaming. He made a big impression on Terry Crews at EA’s 2016 Battlefield 1 livestream, launched his own esports league. Of course, the artist streams on Twitch for fun and to game.
The reason for his choice, is quite simple and beyond his gaming experience; his kid talked him into doing it.
“It only makes sense to partner with FaZe Clan as both a team member and on the Board of Directors. The youth identifies with their brand, and that’s something my son Cordell knew, which is why he brought us together.”

The Relationship Between the Parties is Not New
“The organic relationship between Faze and Snoop has been building for years now, so we are thrilled to officially welcome Faze Snoop to the family. As the original internet kid and first generation gamer, Snoop has always understood the cultural connection between music, lifestyle and gaming. Today, Snoop is a prominent voice in the emerging Web3 community, and we have exciting plans to create together in the metaverse, driving new engagement opportunities for both of our fanbases.”
