Astralis is one of the biggest and most popular CSGO teams in the games history and for a good reason.
The all-Danish roster rose to fame in 2018 when it completely dominated the CSGO calendar, winning no less than 15 top-level events. It currently holds the record for most wins and for the most watched CSGO team.
In 2020, the team managed to win 3 major events: ESL One: Road to Rio – Europe, the 12th season of ESL Pro League Europe and the massive Intel Extreme Masters XV – Global Challenge.
In 2019 the company launched its FIFA team and in 2020 Astralis its LOL team, re-branding Origen’s old roster.

There’s nothing evil about this North American esports org, but there’s plenty of talent to go around. Founded in 1999, EG is one of the oldest professional gaming organizations in the world.
Under the EG umbrella we find several esports roosters, from Dota 2 to Rocket League or Street Fighter.
The organization initially entered Counter-Strike in the early 2000s, hosting various rosters until 2011. In 2012 the division was closed-down but on September 26th, 2019, Evil Geniuses entered Counter-Strike: Global Offensive with the acquisition of NRG Esports’ roster.
The new team had a fantastic 2019 managing to win 5 major events including the StarSeries & i-League CS:GO Season 8 which brought them $250,000.
Last year, they dominated the North-American regional finals in the BLAST Premier, cs_summit and ESL Cologne events winning more than $380,000 in prize money.

G2 Esports is a Spanish esports organizations with teams in CSGO, LOL, Valorant, Fortnite and RocketLague.
It fields one of the best CSGO teams in the world, with a global roster that managed to win over $2.3 million USD in prize money since its creation in 2015.
2017 was a great year for G2, the team managing to win the ESL Pro League Season 5 – Finals earning a whooping $225,000.
2018 didn’t bring any major victories but the team was back on track in 2019, winning 4 major tournaments.
In 2020 G2 managed to reach the finals of the IEM Katowice, but ultimately lost to NAVI in the Grand Finals.

A fairly young esports organization, MIBR (aka Made in Brazil) fields the most popular CSGO team in South America and one of the top 10 in the world.
The team was founded in 2018 with a roster formed of the former SK Gaming players, by Immortals – the same company which houses the Los Angeles Valiant.
MIBR had a fantastic 1st-year managing to win the ZOTAC Cup Masters 2018 and finishing 2nd in the Esports Championship Series Season 6 – Finals.
2019 brought a lot more tournaments but few notable results.
In 2020, the team managed a few notable results but most of the year it struggled to find its best form.
MIBR managed to win the BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 American Showdown and reach the finals of the same event but other than that, it did not managed to win any major CSGO tournaments.
So why you should keep an eye on this particular team this year?
2020 was a year full of investments and changes for this CSGO team. The team brought back Raphael “cogu” Camargo as Coach and it’s looking to more reinforcements.

mousesports is one of the oldest CSGO teams in the world, playing its first professional tournament in 2002.
The Hamburg-based organization, was founded as a CSGO team but over the year added various divisions, including an all-female CSGO team.
In 2004, mousesports started its Unreal Tournament division, which will later dominate the tournament scene for years to come. Later, also ventured into FIFA, Painkiller and CS:CZ for ESWC eventually.
2015 brought a new era in CSGO for mousesports, with the team being completely rebuilt around new players: Denis “denis” Howell, Johannes “nex” Maget, Timo “Spiidi” Richter, and Nikola “NiKo” Kovac.
Success wasn’t far behind and the German team managed to win 14 finals in the same year.
In 2018 they won ESL One: New York and the StarLadder & i-League StarSeries Season 4.
In 2019 they won the CS:GO Asia Championships 2019, the ESL Pro League Season 10 – Finals and finished second at EPICENTER 2019.
They started 2020 with a bang winning ICE Challenge 2020 and finishing 2nd in the ESL Pro League Season 11: Europe. They closed the year by reaching the finals of the DreamHack Masters Winter 2020: Europe.
In last year’s HLTV rankings they finished 9th.

FURIA Esports was established in 2017 and a year later moved to US, to Miami after the Americas Minor Championship – London 2018.
In 2019 its first big results are being recorded., FURIA winning the Arctic Invitational and reaching the Esports Championship Series Season 7 Finals.

Heroic is the second Danish team in our list, after Astralis and one of the rising stars on the professional CSGO team.
Founded in 2016, Heroic’s CSGO roster was almost disbanded in 2020, when it was almost acquired by FunPlus Phoenix. The deal fell and Heroic kept their team.
4 years of being active Heroic managed to min some of the biggest events.
Months after its was launched, the team won International Gaming League 2016 and a year later the European stage of World Cyber Arena 2017.
Its biggest victories were undoubtedly achieved in 2020, when HEROIC qualified for 28 tournaments winning 8.

Abbreviated from Berlin International Gaming, BIG is a German esports organization formed in 2017 by former NRG Esports players.
The organization fields divisions in several titles beside Counter Strike: Global Offensive such as League of Legends, Starcraft, Trackmania, FIFA and Quake but the CS:GO teams remains the most successful.
Since its creation, BIG participated in over 110 CSGO tournaments, wining over30 and earning more than $1 million USD in prizes.
2020 was by far the team’s best year with 12 won tournaments including the reputable DreamHack Open Leipzig.
